I (founder) was in a Domestic Abuse relationship for 5 years. I struggled with 3 more years of 'control' abuse, even though our relationship was over! 

'I got away'...Which means I ended up 'running away'. 

I thought that was the end of my nightmare, yet I soon realised it had only just begun- I was now struggling with myself! 

Who am I? Who have I become? How do you even live a 'normal' life?

After years of hiding and denying that I was even in an abusive relationship, I finally asked for help! The battle was hard alone, I didn't know where to turn. And I was embarrassed, I was not a 'victim'!

 I realised I clearly was NOT the only person struggling with the path after Abuse and so I decided that along my own journey, I was going to help shine the light on the path for others who need it!

I have come up with the idea of a SAFE PLACE and I've teamed up with some amazing people to create AFTERPATH. We are trying to raise awareness of Domestic Abuse and encouraging professionals who work 1:1 with clients to learn how they can help people going through domestic abuse in a safe environment.
